What you choose to put into your body is not only what satiates your appetite; it is what fuels your body and its performance in health, fitness and life. These nutrition services are geared to creatively teach and inspire you, your group of girlfriends and your family to healthier eating habits that can be integrated easily into your lifestyles. Whether you are an ‘on-the-go’ gal or an ‘at-home-mom’ there is something for you.
Each of these services range from $75 to $125. Cost varies if taste testing, food products, or healthy treat preparation are included.
Nutrition Assessment:
Keep a food log for a specified period of time and a Certified Nutritionist will assess the details in order to give you a list of dietary goals based on your lifestyle and goals.
Healthy Whole Grain Baking:
Challenge the baker in you! Learn to use healthy whole grains instead of refined flours when preparing food for you and your family. This hands-on presentation is great for small groups or families and takes place in your very own kitchen.
The Power of Whole Foods:
Have you ever wondered why so many preventable diseases are on the rise in the US? Adults and children alike are at higher risk of diabetes, cardiac disease and many cancers have skyrocketed, and obesity related illness is at an all time high. In this seminar learn how eating whole foods can decrease your risk and incorporate easy strategies into your own life.
Kitchen Raid:
Yes, that’s right! We are coming to raid your kitchen! This no-nonsense approach to identifying the good, bad and ugly in your kitchen is a great way to jump start your new fitness or nutrition program. We will educate and give you some tips for making changes in the process of ridding your kitchen of junk.
The Healthy Happy Hour:
This fun, relaxed workshop is geared to get you and your girlfriends mobilized and inspired to make healthy changes in your life. The inspiring presentation is geared towards the goals of the group, conversation kept light, healthy taste testing optional, and everyone leaves with a plan to move forward with their personal wellness goals. Family Friendly Healthy Eating:
Get the kids involved with making healthy choices. With discussions of portion sizes, components of healthy meals, and ideas for making some easy changes, this is a great way to include the whole family in establishing a healthful eating experience. (Follow up sessions optional for more in-depth discussions.)
